Description:
As part of the tour we will head from Tbilisi to village Cholmani, from where we will continue on foot. We will get over Kldekari Pass and see the remains of a fortress from the time of the Baghvashi family. After that we will descend into river Sabolia Valley; Overnight at a specially chosen campsite; We will go past river Sabolia’s waterfalls and head towards village Rkoni; We will visit Rkoni Monastery and Fortress and than head home to Tbilisi;
Day 1:
10 km. Forest tracks/trails. Moderate terrain without steep variability in height, river-crossings;
Overnight at 1100 meters above sea level.
Day 2:
7 km. Forrest tracks/trails. Moderate terrain without steep variability in height, river-crossings;
